Ossaim
Orisha of leaves, herbs, and the secret of cures. Without his leaves, no ritual exists — "kó sí ewé, kó sí òrìṣà" (without leaf there is no orisha). Greeting: "Ewé ó!".
Who He Is
Ossaim (Òsanyìn) is the orisha of leaves and herbs — the holder of the àṣẹ (the vital force) contained in every plant. He keeps the secret of cures: he knows which leaf heals, which poisons, which opens paths and which closes them. This knowledge is his alone, and he shares it sparingly.
A Yoruba proverb sums up his absolute importance in the cult: “kó sí ewé, kó sí òrìṣà” — “without leaf, there is no orisha”. No ceremony, bath, or settling of an orisha is done without Ossaim’s leaves. He is therefore indispensable to all the other orishas.

- The secret — guarded knowledge, not given away for free.
In-Game Perspective
Ossaim is the orisha of healing and alchemy crafting par excellence: the lore of herbs, potions, and effects. In an RPG with the gathering of plant resources and a status system, he is the principle that gives meaning to turning a leaf into a remedy — or into a poison.
