Buddhism

Buddhist concepts that dialogue with the esoteric lens of Mensageiros do Vento, especially those read by Helena Blavatsky in "The Voice of the Silence": the bodhisattva, the disciple (Lanu), and what it means to become a Buddha. A living doctrine, treated here with respect and in the Wiki's comparative key.

Buddha

"The awakened one". Not a god nor a proper name, but a state: to recognize the true nature of the world and, able to leave, to choose of one's own will to return to humanity to help it. The various spellings (Buddha, Buda, Budha) name the same thing.

Lanu

The word with which Helena Blavatsky addresses the disciple in "The Voice of the Silence". Lanu is the learner on the spiritual path — the chela who has not yet awakened, but to whom the teaching is addressed.

Bodhisattva

In Mahayana Buddhism, the being who, able to enter nirvana, voluntarily postpones their own final liberation out of compassion, vowing to remain until all beings are freed.
